The story

Who we are

A hotel portfolio built for the long term.

Founded in 2018 by Bankinter and GMA, Atom Hoteles now has around 800 shareholders.

Atom Hoteles SOCIMI is managed by GMA and holds 23 assets, totalling 5,572 rooms, more than 500,000 square metres leased and assets valued at over €800 million.

The portfolio comprises urban and resort hotels in established destinations, operated under lease by leading hotel groups.

Purpose

Acquire, manage and create value in leased hotel assets.

Atom Hoteles focuses on the acquisition, management and value creation of real-estate assets leased to hotel operators, with the aim of optimising returns for its shareholders.

Its corporate purpose also includes holdings in other SOCIMIs and foreign entities with similar activities and tax regimes.

From the outset, the company has followed a strategy of building a diversified portfolio of urban and leisure assets, leased to strategic operators.

A large part of the portfolio is based on guaranteed fixed rents, providing operating strength and resilience across the cycle.

An independent capital manager focused on investment, asset management and hotel-backed real-estate projects.

GMA Corporate is the business manager of ATOM Hoteles SOCIMI. Its team is led by founder Víctor Martí Gilabert, who has more than 30 years of experience in domestic and international markets.

Víctor Martí has managed proprietary and third-party capital, taking different roles by vehicle and project: origination, structuring, acquisition, management, co-investment, development, operations and disposal.
