He was born in Valladolid, is married and has three children. Since 2014, he has held the position of Managing Director at Bankinter Consumer Finance, the Bankinter group’s specialized consumer finance company. He is, in turn, a member of the Management Team of Bankinter SA, Director of Línea Directa Aseguradora and Director of Equifax Iberia.

His professional career has been developed at Bankinter, where he entered its Treasury Room in 1993 as a Trader. Since then, he has held different positions, such as Director of Internet, Director of Commercial Banking and Branch Network, etc. In 2007, he was appointed Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at Bankinter, a position he held until 2014.

Doctor in Economics from the University of ICADE, Master in Research from the same University, Advanced Management Program from Columbia University in New York and MBA from IE Business School as well as a Bachelor of Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Valladolid.

Jaime Íñigo Guerra Azcona is currently the General Director of Bankinter (Director of Investment Banking), a position he has held since 2013. Between 2004 and 2013, he held the position of General Secretary of Bankinter (Legal Area, Fiscal Area and Area of Regulatory and Corporate Compliance). Previously, he served as Secretary of the Board and Director of Legal Services at the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO). In addition, Mr. Jaime Íñigo Guerra Azcona is a State Attorney on a leave of absence since 2002.

Jaime Íñigo Guerra Azcona has an undergraduate double degree in Business administration, Management and Law from the Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE-E3) and a Program for Leadership Development (PLD) from the Harvard Business School.

Víctor Martí Gilabert is responsible for directing, defining and executing the investment, development and divestment strategies, with maximum involvement, in the day-to-day operations of the companies in which he participates.

He has more than 25 years of experience, in which he has acquired knowledge in the different areas that involve not only business operations, but also the development aspects and the investment and divestment decision. His expertise covers the negotiation of purchase and sale contracts, participations and, especially, between property and operator in all its modalities (affiliation, franchises, management, leases, etc …). He has been President of Horwath HTL in several countries and a member of the International Council of Horwath HTL representing EMEA. In addition, he has led the consultancy for the purchase and sale of hotels and tourist businesses for SOCIMIs, REITs, investment funds, private equity, hotel chains and family offices, among others. During his career he has led more than 400 hotel transactions and projects that add up to a value of more than € 5b.

Victor was born and raised in a family dedicated to the restaurant and retail sector. His professional beginnings were in family businesses and later in multinationals, which has allowed him to enrich and strengthen his vision of the hotel, leisure, restaurant and commercial sectors at all levels. He studied Tourism in Barcelona, ​​graduated in Theme Parks Management at Cornell University (Ithaca-New York) and completed the Senior Management Program (PADE) at IESE (University of Navarra – Harvard University). He is the founder and CEO of GMA and Atom Hoteles SOCIMI (the leading hotel Socimi in Spain). Member of Exceltur (Alliance for Tourism Excellence), Councilor of Montepino. (leading logistics company in Spain, owned by Bankinter S.A.). He actively participates in the main forums of the sector and is a professor at IE and other training institutions such as Lanzadera.

Javier Aparicio is the head of the economic and financial department of GMA, as well as some of its vehicles. He is in charge of preparing the financial reports necessary for the economic decision-making of the company.

He worked in E&Y in Real Estate, Retail and Logistics projects for more than 3 years, being the point of support in the financial departments of these companies. In addition, he has worked on process optimization projects.

He has a Double Graduate in Business Administration and Management and Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid, and a Master’s Degree in Business Consulting from the Center for Financial Studies.

Antonio Riestra Pita began his professional career in the year 1977 in Uralita (Grupo March). Between 1985 and 2002, he was the General Director of Uralita Internacional, S.A. (international trade, trading, project finance), and from 1995 to 2000, was the General Director of Urariego, S.A. (industrial sector & irrigation projects). From 2002 to 2012, he carried out his duties as an Urban Planning Consultant (land) in Coindeco, S.L. Subsequently, he was an Urban & Estate Consultant (AR&P advisors) between the years 2012 and 2014, and since 2011, the President of the family business José Arechabala Intl. Ltd. (Vaduz) (industry distiller and producer of sugar in Cuba since 1878).

Mr. Antonio Riestra Pita is a civil engineer of roads, canals, & ports (1975) from the School of Roads of Madrid, and has a postgraduate course in financing construction companies (Juan Miguel Villar Mir). He also completed that IESE General Management Program (GMP) (1987-1988) in Madrid.

IGNACIO DÍAZ LÓPEZ (Independiente)

He began his professional career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen, where for three years he specialised in the financial sector to make the leap, in 1991, to the Oasis group as the Finance Director. Later, he founded ADM S.L, where he administered the finances and management of several clients and developed consulting projects.

In 2006, the NH Hotel Group appointed him as their Internal Audit Manager (2006-2013) where he acquired vast experience in the hotel sector.

Currently, he is the administrator, founder, and CEO of a hotel hospitality services company. He is also a permanent collaborator in a broad range of corporate areas and is adept at business expansions.

He graduated in Business Administration & Economics (Universidad Autónoma, Madrid) and is a member of the Official Register of Auditors (ROAC).



Josep Sala Raduà is the head of the Real Estate Area of GMA. He currently holds the position of President of the Investment Committee of Atom Hoteles SOCIMI and is a member of the Investment Committees of all GMA vehicles, grouping both strategic and portfolio management functions, purchase processes, as well as the management of alliances and joint ventures of the company.

He has 8 years of exclusive experience in the Real State Hotel industry, having been an Investment Analyst at HorwathHTL, where he worked on several important projects in the Asset Management division of the firm.

Josep is a graduate of the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and holds an MBA in Industrial Companies from the Instituto Químico de Sarriá (IQS).


Pedro Sagües is currently Managing Director and head of Alternative Investment Funds at Bankinter’s Investment Banking Unit.

He has more than 20 years of experience in Investment Banking, having been responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions at Bankinter (2011-2016), Corporate Finance Director at Socios Financieros (2008-2011) and Espírito Santo Investment (2005-2008), Corporate Development and IR Manager at Telefónica New Media – Antena 3 TV (2001-2005) and Corporate Finance Analyst at Citigroup (1998-2001).

Pedros has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad Pontifica de Comillas (ICADE) and an Executive MBA from IE Business School.


Arántzazu Sánchez Janáriz is Director of the Real Estate Assets at Bankinter, in charge of the divestment of the bank’s foreclosed assets, among others. She has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, throughout which, she has held several positions of senior management, among others the Directorate of Legal Advice for the south zone at Ferrovial Real Estate (1998-2001), Director of Legal Advice and member Board of Directors at the Kingdom of Don Quixote, Manager of Central Region at Acciona Real Estate (2004-2009), and Management of central territory at Banco Santander-Altamira (2009-2015), managing a portfolio of €2.2 billion.

Arántzazu Sánchez Janáriz has an undergraduate degree in Law and a master’s degree in Urban Planning, both from the Autonomous University of Madrid.
