The 1st Real Estate Investment Trust in the Spanish hotel investment market.
ATOM HOTELES SOCIMI S.A is a publicly listed SOCIMI (Spanish REIT) focused on the hotel industry in Spain.
Incorporated in January 2018 by Bankinter and GMA Capital, and subject to the SOCIMI tax regime. Today ATOM is the 1st Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) in the Spanish hotel investment market, and 2nd largest hotel owner in Spain.
Atom Hoteles SOCIMI is managed by GMA, and currently owns 21 hotels , with 5.265 rooms, that represent a portfolio value of more than 800M€.We focus on the acquisition, management and development of real estate assets for lease in the hotel industry.
Investment Criteria
Opportunities involving existing hotels and resorts in well-established urban and leisure destinations will be considered, preferably unencumbered by an operator and within the 4- and 5-star categories. Priority will be given to urban assets located in city centers with more than 80–100 rooms, as well as to beachfront leisure assets with over 250–300 rooms, situated in safe and well-connected international destinations, particularly those with strong air accessibility.
OBJECTIVE
Atom Hoteles focuses its activity on the acquisition, management, and enhancement of real estate assets intended for hotel leasing, with the goal of optimizing returns for its shareholders.
The corporate purpose of Atom Hoteles also includes participation in the capital of other SOCIMIs and foreign entities with similar activities and tax regimes.
Since its inception, the company has followed a strategy aimed at building a diversified portfolio of urban and vacation assets, leased to strategic operators.
A large part of the portfolio is based on guaranteed fixed rents, which provides operational strength and resilience against economic cycle fluctuations, ensuring stability and confidence for investors.
